Paying a Visit | @Effy

silence-screams-louder:

eeffystonem:

As Effy sat opposite Dean, her eyes fixed on his face as she tried to read anything from his facial expressions. Anything that would give her some sort of clue to how this was going to turn out, she liked him but this game could potentially ruin the friendship or whatever they had. It was fucked up and everyone knew it apart from him which made him an easily target to befriend, although she knew that the more he knew about her the more she was sure he’d try and get away. She lifted her glass to her lips and took a mouthful, raising her eyebrows as she knew for a fact that Effy was the only one out of the two that had been to Roundview. Knowing he wouldn’t drunk, she carried on with her turn in asking the question. “Never have I ever drank so much that someone had to carry me home” She looked at him before lifting the cup back up to her lips again and taking another gulp, waiting for his response. Obviously these were the starter questions, of which she didn’t mind admitting to but it made her think what sort of questions she could ask after they’d done a few more starter ones.

“Never happened to me,” He said solidly, averting his gaze from hers momentarily. What if she said something along the lines of fucking a guy? Would he have to drink? Obviously he could lie, but that wasn’t the best tactic. Maybe it would be best to get it out there just so she knew… Technically, he hadn’t fucked a guy - he’d been fucked. He was raped. He furrowed a brow, looking back at Effy. He sighed, “Never have I ever been fucked by a guy.” Dean lifted his drink to his lips for the first time in the game and took a long gulp. It stung the back of his throat, no matter how many times alcohol would pass through his throat it always stung. It could never fully erase the memories of Vince from his mind either. It took him a few seconds to look back at her, especially since he was embarrassed now -embarrassed of his past and embarrassed that he managed to open up another layer in front of her.

Effy raised her eyebrows at Dean, he seemed to be the perfect good boy and for some reason that seemed to attract her. She didn’t understand why because in the past she had gone for the complete opposite of what Dean was, even with friends. He pulled her in and it seemed to be easy for him to do so. She waited for his next line, it seemed to take longer than usual but he was obviously thinking of one that would get her drunk. Anything he would say, she probably would of done it. The game didn’t seem a good idea but at least he’d know about her, all of her and what he did with that information was up to him. After the words escaped Dean’s lips, watching him take the first drink for a few seconds before raising the glass up to her lips keeping her facial expressions the same as before and taking a gulp. This seemed to be a little bit of a sore subject for Dean, he seemed a little.. embarrased. The first thing that came to mind was that he’s gay. Why did that thought go through her head and disappoint her? He was embarrased that he’s been flirting with her and maybe leading her on a little? It all confused her yet she didn’t believe it. Although it would explain why he was so uptight with her to begin with and why he had said on the bus he wasn’t that into sex. Maybe sex with her. “Gay?” She asked, not sure if she should of asked but decided to anyway.

Walk of Shame @Effy

lovelymichellerichardsonn:

Michelle awoke to the sound of a quiet whimpering, she opened her eyes to see her new jack russell sitting at the edge of her bed looking uncomfortable. “Do you want to go out on a walk Shame?” Michelle chuckled at the thought of walking shame, a horrible pun but a funny one she thought. Michelle hopped out of bed and slipped a pair of black shorts on with a hoodie, she wanted to be comfortable if she would have to be out so early. Michelle put the jeweled collar on her dog and attached the lime green leash, her dog would be just like her wearing eclectic colors.

Michelle made her way down the block quietly humming Katy Perry to herself when she saw a petite girl in the distance taking a very obvious walk of shame. “This is ironic.” Michelle thought to herself with a slight chuckle. Michelle made her way closer to the girl and realized she knew her, “Effy?” she tilted her head with her jaw open trying not to gawk at the girl, “You look gorgeous.” she smirked and locked her dog leash so Shame wouldn’t get to far from her.

Effy picked up her dress from the floor and her loose items including her phone and cash that seemed to have flung around the room whilst she’s been here. She walked over to the bed where Nick was and smiled slightly, leaning over and kissing him lightly on the forehead. She obviously didn’t mind staying longer but staying for the day after sex wasn’t Effy’s thing, she needed to get home and get ready for Mini who seemed to be coming around later today to talk about Tony and some sort of present. She pulled off a jacket of Nick’s and wrapped it around herself, walking down the stairs and towards the front door, slamming the door behind her as she started to walk faster than usual in the direction of her place.

After walking for what seemed like hours when in reality it had only been just over ten minutes, obviously she didn’t look the best. She hadn’t had a shower nor had she changed her clothes since last night so she hoped that she would walk straight home and that would be it. Obviously with Effy’s luck, that didn’t happen. Hearding someone call her name, she scrunched her eyebrows up and looked in the direction of which the voice was coming from, It was Michelle. Why was it whenever Effy didn’t want to see anyone, she seen them and when she wanted to see someone, they were never there to be seen? The one day where she wanted to avoid any contact with people and quickly get home and she bumped into her brothers ex. Perfect day already. Watching Michelle walk close, Effy tried her best to hide the clothing she was wearing with the jacket that was slouched around her shoulders but failing. “Could say the same for you. Hoodies and shorts, what a perfect outfit.” She tilted her head, looking down towards the dog then back up at Michelle. “And you’ve brought your friend along with you. How sweet.” She said, blatantly joking although all she wanted was to hurry up and get rid of Michelle before she asked any questions.

Welcome back @Freddie

Effy happily nodded once they dodged the question about her and Nick. It wasn’t something you really got into with ex boyfriends, he didn’t need to know any details. Not like she’d tell him anyway. Once Freddie mentioned another girl, she looked at him and tried to keep her face in the same position as before. She turned towards the shots and picked one up, bringing it to her mouth and swallowing the liquid. The name Rae seemed familiar, she scrunched her eyebrows up slightly trying to place her name. “Rae? She has a sister called Mini, yeah?” She said, nodding once. Although Freddie said she was a friend, she didn’t believe him. Who brought up their friends when they were asked about meeting any certain girls?

Keeping up the idea that Rae was just a friend, Freddie shrugged. “She didn’t mention a sister.” He said nonchalantly. In all honesty Freddie wasn’t even sure he could call Rae ‘more than a friend’. Sure they had kissed but that didn’t always mean something. “I need a cigarette.” Freddie stated matter of factly as he stood up off the couch, his head spun and he started to feel the effects of the shots a lot more. “Let’s go to the shed, yeah?” With one hand he grabbed the bottle of vodka and extended the other toward Effy to help her off the couch.

Effy moved her eyes from Freddie and looked around the room. She tried not to think of Rae and Freddie although it obviously was hard for her after she had just found out about 5 minutes ago about Freddie having actually moved on. It really was happening. Not sure what actually had gone on between them, she had nothing to ask him about. Knowing Freddie, she could actually be a friend and nothing more although she highly doubted it. She gave a nod, ignoring the topic and smiled once he had mentioned a cigarette in his shed, something they both hadn’t done in ages. She started to get up before noticing the extended arm in front of her, looking towards it for a few seconds before hesistately reaching for it and taking hold to pull herself up. She pulled herself up, in all honesty she didn’t want to let go of his hand. She never wanted to let him go but him being away basically pushed her into somebody else. Effy quickly let go of his hand and swallowed, walking past him and towards the back door and into the garden.

Random meeting, again, @Effy

Effy nodded once as she started to walk in the direction where Grace had pointed. She threw the cigarette onto the floor and took a step over it, shoving her hands back in the pockets as she walked. “Am I not allowed to be good without someone having made me this way?” She asked, laughing. Everytone she was around lately was asking her why she was so happy all of a sudden. She didn’t really want to go on about who and what had made her happy so she tended to avoid the question easily. “And why are you walking by yourself?” She asked, the two of them drawing closer to the cafe.

Grace laughed along with Effy, shrugging. “No, you’re allowed to be! I was just wondering why!” she exclaimed, putting a hand over her heart. Since Effy had obviously avoided her question, though, Grace decided to ignore it as well. “Erm, I was just at dance,” she said, shrugging. They walked into the cafe together, Grace holding the door for Effy. “Go grab a seat,” she said to Effy, walking up to the counter and ordering two cappuccinos. After paying for the drinks she turned and saw Effy sitting by the window, observing the outside. She walked up to the table and sat down. “So…What have you been up to lately?” she asked.

Effy was happy once Grace played along and avoided the question with her. She was glad that she didn’t keep asking, it was something Effy wasn’t comfortable with and Grace seemed to understand although Effy never was sure why she did. As they both walked into the cafe, she looked around and watched Grace as she walked towards the till. Effy decided to get a seat ready for the two of them seeing as the place seemed to be a little packed out and she was sure that it would only get worse. After a few minutes Grace came back, holding the two coffees and took a seat opposite her. She leant over and slid one of the cups towards her, looking down at the stream that was coming off her cup before glancing back at Grace from across the table. “Dance, eh?” She asked, smiling. After looking at Grace for a few seconds it suddenly made sense. “I’m guessing Ballet.” She said, a smile fixed on her face once she figured out that by the reaction on Grace’s fact that she was in fact, right. “Doing the usual.. parties, drugs, alcohol, guys and trying to just get through this life without any complications. Doesn’t seem to work though, does it?” She asked, not actually sure what she was asking. Grace didn’t seem like the type of girl to go out and do the things Effy did.

oh-justfuckit-deactivated201201 asked: Not usually, but she seems a bit, well, unique. Besides, she ate that whole bag of Old Keith's. She doesn't sound exactly like the safest user in the world.

Yeah, I guess that’s what you can call her, unique. She’ll be fine but make sure you don’t sell her too much, she tends to get a little carried away sometimes.
